Synopsis:

"Scottie Templeton is a Broadway press agent who is always the life of the party. He can get everyone to like him...except his son Jud. When Scottie finds out that he is dying, he tries to reconcile with Jud when Jud's mother (Scottie's ex-wife) drops him off for a visit. During the visit, Scottie even has Sally Haines, his most recent female acquaintance, go after Jud. Jud gets upset when he finds out it was a setup, and later gets even more upset after finding his father and mother had spent the night together. After Jud finds out his father is dying, he decides to stay anyway and eventually helps his father decide to go through with the chemotherapy. With the help of Scottie's friends, Jud puts together a tribute party to Scottie."
