I think I'd swap
Hawkeye/Fever to Hawkeye/Andy
Klinger/Andy to Klinger/Fever
Andy was the WKRP lead as was Hawkeye. Fever was a little unhinged as was Klinger although not nearly as energetic.
I've a tougher time placing Les. Les was a nut and Mulcahy was pretty grounded. Les's closest counterpart was Col Flagg, although Les was harmless and Col Flagg was DEFINITELY not.
I wish KRP had lasted longer and could be been more widely syndicated. We're getting closer to Thanksgiving and Arthur Carlson's classic line, "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."
