"Alcoholics Unanimous" Realized Something New

When Frank was outlawing alcohol at the 4077th in Henry's absence, he, naturally, gave a free pass to Margaret when he found out that she keeps a flask of brandy with her, telling her that in her case, he'll consider it nerve medicine.

Yet, later that evening, she's having to sneak into the supply room to find some, much like Hawkeye and Trapper were . . . so, I guess Frank's free pass didn't take?

Frank was the worst

His self-righteousness was largely based on convenience and power. He abandoned his principle the moment Margaret was involved.

I don't remember Margaret as being a drinker before this episode. I'm guessing she acquired the habit to get the story over.

As devoted a fan as I am, I think this episode was during season 3? During one of the first 2 seasons Margaret got drunk as I recall, when she told Henry that he reminded her of her dead father...but not entirely sure. So her drinking here I don't believe would be a first for her.

Yeah, I think you're right!

She was good a good drunk, too! Like when they told her the wounded weren't there yet and she said let's go get them!

If that's the case, then why was Frank shocked that she had booze??

The plot thickens...
