GFA, Mike Farrell injured??

So I'm watching "Goodbye, Farewell & Amen" on youtube at the moment, and one of the comments mentioned that Mike broke his ankle when B.J. drove down the hillside after saying goodbye to Hawkeye. I was wondering if that was true, especially since this was not the last episode filmed. Farrell seemed to be fine in "As Time Goes By" which was the last episode filmed. Just wondered if anybody here ever heard this and whether or not it was actually true. I tried researching it online but so far nothing found.

I mean, the way he rode down the side of the hill on that motorcycle like that, I can't imagine he didn't injure himself in some small way. That was crazy.

Mike broke his toe. It was written into the show. In Friends and Enemies Hawkeye bandages BJ's hurt foot.
If you watch closely you can see Mike limping a bit after Hawkeye and BJ say goodbye to Col. Potter. As they walk to BJ's motorcycle you can see him limping just a little.

I heavily suspect that BJ's tripping and falling into the mud when they're treating the injured soldiers on the way to the 4077th.

It was just too real to have been faked.

In Abyssinia Henry Radar comes into the OR to announce the crash. An instrument drops. They didn't want to redo it, again, so they left it in.
