Notice something new with Pilot.

The other evening one channel was showing the pilot. The one where they have a raffle to win a date with a nurse but the winner is taped to bottom. The orig. Father. The General comes at night in a chopper. Then later, wounded come in on choppers during the night. But here after, all choppers don't fly a night? Margret can't get her lotion in the heat wave, the kidnapper that takes Klinger hostage can't get a chopper till the next morning. The pilot with the broken fan blade has to wait until morning to complete the journey on the last regular episode. I know was different writers or no wait to search old episodes back when, but the pilot episode depended on choppers coming in with wounded. They even have the sound of choppers coming so it's not like they can just have trucks and ambos show up. Something new I noticed. That is all. ;-)

It'll drive you crazy

I think if you try to make sense of any series, you'll go nuts. Inconsistencies of characters, timeline, situation, and so forth. And pilots are even worse. They're trying to sell the show and are even under fewer consistency constraints. And pilots are filmed weeks or months (or maybe more than a year) before any other episode.
I have to agree that helicopters flying at night seems to be an excessive oversight.
