Saturday Morning TV

Is Saturday morning TV like it was when I was a kid? I had a rare Saturday morning when I needed to hang around and watch TV, so I looked at the show line-up. It was TV-watching heaven, except for the adult me. Instead of cartoons and kid shows, I saw MASH, Dirty Jobs, The Rifleman, Have Gun will Travel, All in the Family.
By the way, I picked MASH, and it was the Pilot episode. I didn't realize that the syndicated version did not include the "Korea, 1950" intro.

I know Saturday morning TV is nothing like when I was a kid, especially now that I am 50. I'm usually watching my son bowl on Saturday mornings the last several years. I have very fond memories of Saturday mornings as a youth from cartoons to "Schoolhouse Rock" on ABC. I feel sad for my son and the youth of today missing out on those times, but then I guess they can't miss what they never had to begin with :-\
