And how eerie is it that it was just a year ago today that Wayne Rogers died? 2016 has really claimed a lot of lives this year . . . so much so that people have been begging for Kayne Pest, the Krapdashians, or even Dictator Drumph to die before the year is over. :(

Well, hopefully Bill will bring some jocularity up to Heaven with him.

He brought such a realistic nature and persona to Father Mulcahy. The character was genuine, humble, patient, and very good natured. If you didn't know otherwise, you'd swear he was a Priest.

Haven't heard of his death on any of the newscasts I've seen or heard. I guess he wasn't a big enough celebrity or hasn't been popular recently. However, during one of the transitions on my local NPR station I heard a familiar tune - it was a piano arrangement of "Suicide is Painless." So someone at this station or NPR aired their own little tribute.
