An Interesting Connection
It never occured to me until very recently, but there's actually a connection with M*A*S*H and one of my childhood movies, HOMEWARD BOUND . . . actually, a couple of connections.
Two guest stars from Season 7 have bit parts in this movie. Mark Taylor, who played patient O'Malley in "C*A*V*E," plays the animal shelter director who witnesses Shadow, Chance, and Sassy escape ("If I didn't know better, I'd think they planned this"); and Kit McDonough, who played visiting nurse Debbie and strikes up a brief romance with Klinger in "Ain't Love Grand?" plays one of the park rangers who discover Shadow, Chance, and Sassy in the woods when they lead them and a rescue party to a little girl who got separated from her family.
Like I said, this only occured to me recently, but I thought it was an interesting little connection.
